TU in France

Highlights: Avignon is a walled city made up of a medieval labyrinth of squares and cobblestone streets. Home to approximately 100,000, residents, this beautiful city is renowned for its museums, art galleries, and festivals. Students in Avignon will find it easier to meet local residents and other university students than those studying in a large city and will be exposed to the traditional culture of this region of France.

Voted by the French as "the most desirable French town in which to live," Aix-en-Provence is referred to as the 'city of a thousand fountains' characterized by cobblestone streets and beautiful old buildings. The city is located just 15 miles north of Marseille in the Provence region of France and has inspired many great writers and painters including Paul Cézanne. Though small, Aix is a bustling town rich in history and local tradition yet equipped with all the modern facilities of a larger city.
